    Hey all,
Need some advice from the hive mind on where to credit this flight.

I have a flight on LH/LX all in Business, D booking class, booked on UA ticket stock (016)coming up in a couple of weeks. Ticket was around 6K. I currently have about 1K UA miles, and 500 SQ miles. Normally I am a Delta or LLC carrier for International flights.
Primarily use my Citi TY card, so I could use the TY points to keep an account alive.

    Thanks!

wheretocredit.com says if you credit to UA you'll earn 5 miles per dollar spent though I think that's only on the fare and not on the taxes/fees and assuming you have no status with UA. Still, that should be a pretty good haul. If you credit to SQ it's 125% of miles flown.

SQ miles expire after 3 years, regardless of the activity in your account so if this flight plus your 500 miles would get you a free ticket and you've got plans for those miles crediting to SQ might work. But if you don't have plans for them, I'd go with UA.

I would credit them to UA. They have a better award chat IMO and although it doesn't have particularly good value, you can transfer UA miles to Marriott Rewards and SPG.

A round trip first class award on Thai First booked via United would be 130k.
A one way first class award on That First booked via KrisFlyer would be 150k.

Thanks y'all. I looked at the mileage calculator for UA and I will end up with 31K RDM, 7.5 EQS, 6K EQD, so UA it is. I do have to take a couple of other work trips in the next month, so if I can get 4 UA segments that will at least get me UA Silver. Thanks for all the help!
