Credit Cards Amex FHR and Amex Hilton Aspire

    Hi,

    Is it possible to book amex fhr hotels using my Hilton Aspire card at one of the resort properties and get both the Amex FHR benefits and the $250 statement credit?

    Ultimately my question is - does an Amex FHR booking bill as Amex FHR or the as if the hotel if its a non-prepaid rate.

    I'm pretty sure to use the AMEX Fine Hotels benefits, you need to book through American Express Travel, which will automatically bill your AMEX Platinum/Centurion card. So, you wouldn't be able to use the Hilton Aspire.

    However, the AMEX rate is typically an eligible rate to earn points at a hotel, so that might help you?
