Lack of Alaska Saver Availability

I am suffering greatly from Alaska's lack of saver availability and I have invested in Alaska miles quite a bit. I tried East Cost, Hawaii, Mexico and many other destinations and simply there is no award seats open at all. I do not think their flights are full and I heard that the planes leave with empty seats and yet they do not offer any saver level award space. They do not have a dynamic system like United which opens up the seats even at last minute if they think they cannot sell that seat. For shorter routes like SFO-SEA, they ask for $20K miles, which is ridiculous to say the least. I was a happy loyal customer just a few months ago before the merger completed with Virgin and they opened up quite saver seats on both Virgin (especially) and Alaska. Not sure what happened to know, but this sure looks like the case with American Airlines. I wish the travel blogs would let them know of the consumer's frustration so that they can open up some seats at the saver level. Anyone else is suffering from this?
    Thank you!
