So currently have the preferred, but after reevaluation, the reserved would be a better fit for me.

For you savy people with a good grasp BTW the two, here are my choices.

    1. To Upgrade my preferred but leave the bonus points on the table but gain all the benefits when upgrading to reserve

    2. Or wait a year, downgrade the preferred to unlimited, then apply for the sapphire and gain the points

so its basically free points vs upgraded perks for a year.

the only kicker would be, my sister is getting married In march 2018 and looking to pay for their airfare to their destination, and possibly upgrading with points.

I assume with this information, redeeming the points through reserved for the extra 25% would also be valuable. im not sure at this time how many points I would gain with reserved because im not sure where they want to go at this time.

Thanks in advance! and If i need to be more detailed, please ask away!
