I originally booked two award tickets using 72k Flying Blue Miles each. All flights are on Delta metal. A friend is meeting me in ATL and we're continuing on to EZE.

    Ticket 1
    Depart IAD 10/1 5:20 Pm
    Arrive ATL 10/1 7:20pm

    Depart ATL 10/1 22:17
Arrive EZE 10/2 9:20am (next day)

    Ticket 2
    Depart SFO 10/1 12:39 Pm
    Arrive ATL 10/1 8:19pm

    Depart ATL 10/1 22:17
Arrive EZE 10/2 9:20am (next day)

The flight from ATL to EZE on 10/1 was canceled by Delta and that leg was automatically rebooked to the same flight on the next day 10/2. However, the flights into ATL haven't been rebooked, so we have a ~24 hour layover.

I've been on the phone with Air France who sent me to Delta who then sent me back to Air France. Air France said they would "call me back". I'm not holding my breath on that phone call.

Our plans are relatively flexible so I'm ok with leaving a day later. My question is, who am I better off calling to get the flights changed and how can/should I go about escalating this to get it fixed?

    Hi Ajorl09c!
In this situation, Delta cancelled their ATL-EZE flight. For clarification, is the new ticket for 10/2, is the ticket number on 006, or 057 ticket stock? If it’s 006, that means that Delta already rebooked that one segment of the itinerary, so they should be able to do the first segment as well, as they have inconvenienced you a lot with this cancellation. If they tell you to go call Air France, they would most likely only be able to assist you with changing that IAD-ATL flight at a penalty, which you should not have to front for Delta’s cancellation as it’s a through ticket. I would keep on pressuring Delta to rebook the first segment

All ticket numbers start with 057. Does this mean that it's through Air France?

Odd. If the new ticket is under 057 ticket stock, then it was indeed reissued by Air France.
