    Hello Everyone
Looking to book Mint travel this summer on JetBlue.
We have Amex biz platinum with its $200 airline credit ( set to JetBlue )
BUT we also have the JetBlue MasterCard.

As we need to achieve 4 tickets. Which of the cards offer the best redemption?
Amex with its $200 airline credit
Or the JetBlue card with its points for purchasing

Grateful for any insight or advice

    Hi Rowena,

just remember that the Amex credit is only for incidental fees, not airfare. If Mint includes checked bags (can’t imagine it doesn’t), then the credit may not be of as much use.

But by redemption you mean which offers the most points for purchasing the airfare? I would go with the Amex regardless of the credit not being of value. 5x instead of 3x, and I think the Amex MRs transfer at 5:4, and so is a slightly better deal. $100 on the MasterCard nets you 300 TrueBlue points; $100 on the Amex nets you 500 MRs which transfer to 400 TrueBlue points.

Finally, don’t forget that with the Biz Platinum you need to book through Amex to get the 5x - you can’t book directly through JetBlue.
