Credit Cards AMEX Platinum not worth it.

So is the Platinum Card from AMEX still worth it?
The Chase Sapphire Reserve is a better card You get the $300 travel rebate as a direct credit against expense. Not $50 per six months at Saks, $15 per month at Uber and $200 airline credit only on a chosen airline. AMEX is making the same mistake it did decades ago when it was offered to join the pilot program of AA

A lot of folks would agree with you but it depends on each person's individual travel patterns. I get more value from the Gold card and the CSR than I would from Platinum.

I agree with @MidSouth Skier, I’m not a CSR card holder because my particular travel patterns, frequencies, airlines, fare class and hotel choices do not align well with it’s benefits. That’s not to say it isn’t a great card that others can use to maximize value to their goals.

It might not work for you, but for the luxury traveler, no one beats Amex Plat (or their incredible customer service).

FHR. Cent Lounges. Easy, worry-free disputes.

For me, they're the card I want because I don't concentrate solely on points. I'm more about great customer service and the perks I get for the spend I generate.

+1. A long-time Amex holder, I recently got the Amex Business Platinum. Worth it for Centurion lounge in PHL alone (for me). But the concierge has been able to help twice in just a few months on complicated travel issues. Once a Centurion lounge opens in CLT in 2020 it will be even more valuable.
