Award Redemption Any trick to getting more than 2 F seats on Korean Air?

Looking at LAX-ICN, Korean Air used to release a lot more seats but it seems they've restricted it to 2x F seats available almost across their entire calendar. Is there any trick to booking more than 2? Do they release more after you book the two that are available?

Trying to get a party of 4 to Asia in F and KE used to be a great option. Not anymore....

I think in the past if both seats were taken, they may release more. No guarantees. There's two ways to go about this, depending on whats most important

If First Class is more important, can you split up and travel on different flights? Maybe there's 2 F seats on another flight or from another airport (SFO?)

If traveling together on the same flight is more important, maybe there's business class award seats. Book the other travels there and then if more F seats open up, call and change. You'll need to pay the difference in miles, taxes and possibly a change fee.
