Does anyone know if hot meals are served in international business class on United? Just flew Turkish and service has been cut to Spirit levels in business class. I booked an economy award ticket between NYC and Tahiti for travel over Christmas and New Years. It was 148,000 miles, and I paid about $400 for economy plus seats on all four legs as I must connect in San Francisco. Deciding with all the talk of miles becoming worthless and devaluations going on if I should just pay 350,000 miles for business round trip. This would clear out all miles with United and leave me around 120K Chase Sapphire miles. United flights to Tahiti seem to always be at the highest redemption level for business, and with Air France re-routing through Vancouver it is less of an option than it was flying through Los Angeles. I have about 146K flying blue miles.
