    Hello!

My wife and I are recent transplants from Texas to the UK, and last year we opened the BA Visa for wedding expenses to be able to use for short hops to the continent once we got to London.

We actually spent enough the travel together voucher and are now in an interesting situation -- how to use it.

The trouble is that since we no longer live in the states it is hard to use the ticket since it requires that you book to/from the US. Does anyone know if there are limitations on how far about the outbound and return to the US can be (i.e. we use the flight to return to London in April and then to go back home in November)? Or, is it possible to under utilize the voucher and only book a one way?

    Thank you!
    John

I don't know if it's possible to use it one way but there shouldn't be an issue using one leg in April and the other in November. You'd just have either a nested ticket UK-US in March/April with a return in Nov/Dec or just buy two one-ways.

Keep in mind that you still have to pay fuel surcharges, taxes and fees on the second ticket so if you're flying in business class that second ticket may cost $400-500.

You can book one-ways with the companion ticket, so long as the journey is starting from the US.
