    Hi -

I was planning on traveling to Cambodia and based on my understanding I am eligible to get a tourist visa on-arrival (as a U.S. passport holder) but is it the recommended method and has anyone had an issue with this method?

    Thank you!

Hi Emi, welcome - You can get a visa upon arrival - at least you used to be able to. I am heading there soon and just applied for an e-visa for Vietnam and am going to do the same for Cambodia as well. Check out Tiffany's post about it:

FYI, she mentioned applying for Vietnam was a hassle - I only applied for myself, and it was a breeze. But I think they've improved their webpage since Tiffany applied.

As a follow-up, I just applied for an e-visa for Cambodia, and it was a breeze. Same general form as for Vietnam (it looks like the same vendor built the sites and processes the payments). Took 5 minutes.
