    Hey All,

A good friend is going to Hawaii on his honeymoon and I wanted to help with points. He is getting married at a Marriott property and will be getting lots of points from them, including points based on how many guests stay at the hotel.

Additionally, he has been paying for the wedding with the CSR card, in $10K chunks, and the charges are being booked at 3X.

So, I've got a couple who will have 200-250K Chase points, and 400-500K Marriott points, leaving from Chicago, looking to honeymoon in Hawaii. Please help!

For the flights, I've combined data about lie-flat seats here from a couple of blog posts from Travel Sort and the Travel Sisters. Since he's got the CSR and can get 1.5 cents per point, for some of these flights it may be cheaper to buy them via the Chase portal than to transfer points. I'd also say that since the flight to Hawaii is a daytime flight, a lie-flat is great but not 100% necessary, especially if they're going to connect on the west coast. It really comes in handy on the return though. And on that flight back I would try to fly as far east as possible, bypassing the Seattle/California stops, just to get more time to sleep.

    Flat Bed Seating:
    Delta
to HNL from LAX, ATL, SLC, MSP (seasonal)

    United
to HNL from EWR, IAD, ORD, DEN, IAH, SFO - some are in a 2-4-2 config
    to LIH from DEN
to OGG from DEN, ORD (seasonal)

American - look for 1-2-1 seat layouts
    DFW to HNL and OGG
    ORD to HNL (seasonal)
    PHX to HNL

    Hawaiian
to HNL from LAX, SAN, SFO, LAS, JFK, SEA
    to OGG from LAX, SEA

Hopefully someone who's tried several hotels can give a recommendation.
