    Hi
With all the travel that Ben does, why does he continue to ignore travel to israel? He constantly flies to the middle east and from time to time floats going there yet never does. I find it ironic that a homosexual man travels to all these countries were that type of thing is persecuted yet refuses to travel to the one country in the area that fully supports it. Im not trying to make this a political tweet just curious as to why he continues to avoid israel. Im not the only one who thinks this, ive spoke to many other who feel it is noticeable.

I'm sure he's considered it but it'd probably be a better trip if he were able to plan a flight on El Al to review it. He posted about El Al a couple of weeks ago about how there isnt an easy way (or cheap way) to redeem flights for El Al nor are there any great fare deals on their routes.

I don't think he's avoiding Israel as much as that it's not particularly easy to get to with miles, doesn't have unique products on the route, and isn't really conducive to a quick two-day trip.

I know he wants to go when he can carve out time though!

It's a good question, and I have a pretty simple answer. Israel is actually a place I'd really like to visit and spend some time in. It's not a place I want to travel to for 30 hours. It's near the top of my list of places to visit, for when I do have a week to take to explore the country.

For the purposes of a review trip where I'm on the ground for 24 hours in each city (which has been most of my trips lately), it just hasn't been practical.

But I'm hoping 2017 is the year where I'm actually able to spend some time in Israel.
