Just found this site via JohnnyJet

Looking for a crazy great price from West Coast to Tokyo in biz or 1st class. Preferred cities include Sacramento, LAX, San Diego and Seattle. San Jose a maybe.

    my schedule is very flexible

I’m on a fixed income, so My spending does not make it worthwhile to get a travel cc.

    thank you in advance.

    I appreciate your help.

Welcome @DaveNavy - if you're looking to pay cash then we usually just advise using Google Flights or Kayak to set flight alerts. On this site we tend to pay for our premium cabin travel using points and miles. Even if you don't use a travel credit card, I hope you're at least using a cash back card to earn a minimum of 2% cash back on every purchase. There are other cash back cards that offer more on a quarterly basis and all of these cards have no annual fee. You can save that cash up to use for your travel fund.

Another thought is to consider purchasing airline miles when they're on sale and you've found award space on your route. A friend of mine did this a couple of years ago on a flight to China. He was willing to pay for business class with cash but we found an open first class award seat. He bought enough miles to get that first class seat and it cost him less than a business class ticket!

Beyond that, yes, Ben does sometimes post about great deals on paid business or first class travel but that's kinda random as we don't know when airlines will release those.

If you have questions, feel free to ask, we're happy to help.
