Hi Ben. I have a mileage run coming up on AA from ORD to MCO... One of those $80 RT fares. I'm booked on an early morning flight with a quick turn, returning on the same plane (same flight number). Something has come up that morning and I can't make my flight, but I will free up around mid-day. I am Platinum on AA, so I know I can standby for a later flight out of ORD as long as I call and let AA know I will miss my flight, but what happens to the return? Does AA treat is a connection where standing by for a later return flight would be easy, or am I going to get stuck in Orlando? (I wouldn't even be leaving Chicago until way after my currently booked MCO-ORD is supposed to depart). At this point, the later flights have plenty of seats. Thanks!

@ Cesar -- Standing by for later flights in both directions shouldn't be an issue, as far as I know.
