    Hello Lucky,
I am kinda addicted to your blog. It is very informative, well thought and organized. Thanks for doing this and helping others with tips and tricks. I certainly appreciate it.

Since I have started to follow your blog, my wife and I have purchased miles and signed up for credit cards. We now have about 475k miles with AA between the two of us.

We have a daughter and all three of us wanted a vacation overseas in December as we have not done it for a long, long time. Please note that we live in Atlanta.

Our trip would be consists of three parts and need your suggestion as to the best way and how to book tickets.

    Part 1: One Way (December 18, 2015)
    Atlanta to Bali, Indonesia
On this flight, we are thinking of First Class with Cathay Pacific.

    Part 2: One Way (December 28, 2015)
    Singapore to Cairo, Egypt
On this flight, we are thinking of Business Class with Qatar Airways. Can we have a one night stopover at Doha on this flight?

    Part 3: One Way (January 1 or 2, 2016)
    Cairo, Egypt to Atlanta
On this flight, we are thinking of Business Class with Eithad Airways. Can we have a one night stopover at Abu Dhabi on this flight?

As for the positioning at Singapore, we will purchase tickets from Bali to Singapore.
Any expert advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards,
    Javed Rahman

@ Javed -- Sounds like an awesome trip, and so happy to hear you've started to get into the hobby. If you want to redeem miles over the holidays you'll want to book space ASAP, as it's quite limited. Finding three Cathay Pacific first class seats would be really tough, but business class should be possible. For the flights back, you can have a stopover of less than 24 hours in any of those cities.

    Enjoy!
