Anyone have a clue why people are flying during this pandemic?

Any articles about who is flying and why...

I get Alaska Airlines emails at least once a week tempting me to travel - but knowledge mixed with fear keeps me home...

    Thanks!

Their jobs have been deemed essential? Vacation? Any number of reasons.

I personally would have no issue getting on a plane right now, only issue is I have no where to go lol

A lot of people also fly for family reasons, for instance I live in a different country than my family and I will likely fly there in the next month or 2 depending on the situation.

Hi, I work for an airline, and from my experience, people traveling internationally right now, are people going to see family members, or people going back to their home countries as they feel safe to travel now. There’s a few people traveling internationally for tourism, but those people are dumb and the reason why we keep on getting waves of cases.
