Inflight Experience / Seating Why are J class reverse herringbone seats more economic for the airline?

    Hey Ben
as you have mentioned and have tried several times with different airlines, the new type of business class reverse herringbone are becoming popular.
why are these type of seats more economic for the airline rather than having a 2/2/2 or even 2/3/2 business class configuration?
do airlines with reverse herringbone have less economy class passengers to accommodate these seats?

    what do you think?

@ Daniel -- These seats don't exist because they're more economic, but rather because they offer a better passenger experience. In turn, airlines are trying to lure customers with those seats, hoping they'll pay for business class, and ideally the highest available fares.
