    Hey everyone couple questions.

In January I will be flying YYZ-ORD with 2 others in UA First. Well, first question is that I thought all regional international flights with UA are marked as "United Business" and not "United First" so what gives with respect to that? Anyways after that, does that change lounge access to maple leaf lounge in YYZ. If it were a UA club, then yes, of course, the United first vs united business title makes a difference but what about for Air Canada lounges? The reason I ask is because I have UA gold status, so I can take one relative in with me, but if UA "first" does not allow access into the maple leaf lounge, then I won't go because I can't take 2 relatives in with me. Thanks in advance and cheers!

A thought comes to mind -- is your flight on United metal or Air Canada? I just booked a saver award on a YYZ-SFO flight on what I recall was listed as United Business/First.

Hi there, it’s UA metal. I believe if it were AC metal, then that would be an easy access to the maple lear lounge. But United marking some flights as “United Business” vs “United first” really makes things confusing. Interesting you bring that up because I thought I saw “business/first” somewhere on my reservation earlier but I just ignored it and didn’t think too much of it. What do you have in mind? Thanks and cheers!

I flew Dulles to Toronto last week on United metal - I can't remember what my ticket said but I do remember there being INTL in big bold letters on my boarding pass. I was able to access the United Club in Dulles.

Ok then I’m thinking I’ll be good to go for Maple leaf even for the short flight. Hopefully everything goes according to plan. Thanks guys!
